GP Earnings

NHS England requires that the net earnings of General Practitioners engaged in the practice are publicised as per the public disclosure below. It should be noted the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading as it takes no account for how much time doctors are working in practice. We ask this is not used to form any judgement on GP earnings nor to make any comparison with another practice. 

The average pay for GP's working in the Don Valley Healthcare practice in the financial year 2022-2023 was £70,031 before tax and national insurance. This is for 1 full time GP and 12 part time GP's who worked in the practice for more than six months.
