Nurse practitioner treats and prescribes medications in relation to healthcare, minor ailments and various infections. We offer the same day nurse triage for this.
Nurses
Practice Nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, vaccinations and injections and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor illness clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Healthcare Assistants
Healthcare Assistants offer a range of services including blood tests, blood pressures checks various injections, weight management, ear care, wound care, ECG, well person checks, new patient checks, stitch removal, urinalysis which complements a wide range of nursing services.

Reception
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses, they will ask what your needs are in order to get you seen by the right clinician for the right amount of time. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries and dealing with patient records.

Practice Manager
The Practice Manager makes sure the right systems are in place to deliver our service and provide high quality patient care. This includes; human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
